Private Technology Innovation Events bring VC portfolio companies together with senior IT executives.
Venture Capital firms now have a unique opportunity to present their tech startup portfolio to IT leaders. These exclusive tech start-up events are for portfolio companies and senior IT executives from Captive Eight’s large network. Each Technology Innovation Event is exclusive to one VC firm. VCs can choose to showcase up to 3 of its technology portfolio companies. These tech startup events are done in a virtual roundtable style. Executive attendees ask questions or bring up discussion points during the event.
A Unique Opportunity for Portfolio Companies
Accelerating Tech Startup Success
Technology Innovation Events offer a chance to get on-the-horizon tech startups in front of IT leaders in a fun and interactive virtual format.
Attendees are CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and VP-level Information Security leadership. These tech leaders provide a chance to validate and accelerate portfolio companies’ strategies. They may also give critical feedback, bring up questions, as well as provide early sales opportunities.
Before the Event
The Venture Capital firm works with Captive Eight to choose the best date for the event as well as which portfolio companies will present to the executives.
During the Event
Each portfolio company gives a 20-minute presentation to between 10-25 executives, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session. Executives ask questions and are encouraged to provide constructive feedback.
After the Event
Executives tell Captive Eight when they are interested in follow-up meetings. Innovation Events typically generate extensive follow-up interest from the executives who have attended the event. The Captive Eight concierge will help to streamline the post-event scheduling with executives and portfolio companies.
